McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. and DLR Group are submitting proposals for two State of California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation projects, the Mule Creek Infill Complex Project and the RJ Donovan Infill Facility Project. McCarthy and DLR Group are hosting outreach events for interested subcontractors to learn of potential bid opportunities on the projects.

These projects encompass the design and construction of new and remodeled facilities and site work at Mule Creek State Prison in Ione, California and the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego, California, including housing, programming, healthcare and support facilities McCarthy/DLR will be submitting proposals late November and early December 2013.

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation are interested in participation from Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE), Small Business Enterprises (SBE), and local businesses.  Firms already certified or interested in getting certified by the State of California Department of General Services are encouraged to attend an outreach event or contact Jeff Fuller – jfuller@nullmccarthy.com for information regarding the Mule Creek State Prison project or Gil Camarena – gcamarena@nullmccarthy.com for information regarding the Richard J.
